This is not the easiest thing for me to do. I have refrained from revealing to people where I get my ideas from or why I say what I do. When someone asks, "who told you that?", sometimes I cringe. All I know is that I do not do life totally alone. In retrospect I see now the people and material that crossed my path and eventually revealed to me what seems to be timely lessons (yet unknown to me at the time). So in giving up of some of my selfishness, I am revealing some of the book material that came my way. May they be for you the Godsend they have been for me.

As I am doing this, a reminder from Kahlil Gibran rings through my mind which is:

"The Vision of one man lends not its wings to another man. And even as each one of you stands alone in God's knowledge, so must each one of you be alone in his knowledge of God and in his understanding of the Earth." -- An excerpt from The Prophet

So you see, sharing can be a delicate thing. I am often troubled when I see people, hurting or troubled for whatever reason, present themselves looking very vulnerable. This is when I also see the vultures who circle above, just waiting for their feast. I side with the people who are looking for help, who are vulnerable, and so I try to stave away the vultures that draw close. So with that in mind..

The time frame these materials showed up was from about 1993 on. There were lots of other materials prior to that, but I could sense a rip in my heart as these particulars showed up. I did not ask anyone for this material and only once did a friend present me with one of the authors below. The material seemed to show up when it was needed. There is no ONE book that has done it all for me. If there is then the books below are but chapters in it. I have often been leary of people who are quick to offer the book material that they feel I should read. Knowing the risk that you may think I am doing the same thing, I present you with these:
